Overall, it can be seen that IT Industry contributed more to GDP than Service Industry during all the years. Also, both of them showed an increase over time, but the IT one was more faster.
In 1992, the IT sector was around 6%, while Service industry only made up about 4%. In 1994 both of them rised, IT reaching nearly 8% and Service around 6%. In 1996, IT dropped a little bit but still higher than the Service one, which continued to going up slowly.
The most significant difference can be seen in 2000, when IT reached to almost 15% and Service just above 8%. This showing that IT was growing faster and became more important for UK economy than service industry.
