Overall, it is clear that, there was an upward trend in the proportion of total sales across Asian companies. In contrast, there was a downward trend in those across European and American companies. In addition, the figure for the total sales of the America showed the highest rate but the Asia overtook it toward the end of period.
In 2002, The America stood at the dominate position at 41% total sales before hitting the lowest point at 27% in 2004, but it then recovered to 30% in 2006, which was overtaken by the Asia. Meanwhile, the trend of the Europe exhibited an opposite pattern, which began at the second point with at 34% in 2002 before exceeding over the America in 2004 with at 38%, dropping afterwards the end of period to at 30%
The level of total sales in Asia showed a lowest point at 25% in 2002 before consistently maintaining an increasing trend until the end of period at 40% and becoming the dominate position.
