It is widely acknowledged whether prioritizing the development of public parks and sport amenities is important than building shopping center in newly planned town. From my perspective, i disagree with this idea, as both play crucial role in fostering community.
Admittedly, there are justifiable reasons to believe that upgrading public parks or sport amenities is important for humans. Chief of these is that they incentivizes residents to engage in outdoor activities. For instance, well-maintained parks and sport facilities provide opportunities for healthier lifestyle which can improve cardiovascular health, muscle strength, and contribute to overall physical and mental well-being. Added to this is the fact that public spaces act as social hubs where community members can gather, socialize and participate in community events. As a results, this help foster stronger social ties and a sense of belonging.
However, there are more compelling reasons to say that shopping centers are integral part of modern urban life. The key reason is that shopping center can generate revenue for the local economy. For example if the local authorities mobilize resource for there, more advanced technologies such as self-checkout station or online delivery service would be added which attracts not just from neighborhood but also from nearby areas, leading to economic growth and prosperity. Furthermore, shopping malls offer a variety of goods, dining options and entertainment venues where people form different backgrounds come together explore and experience local service. Therefore, they play an essential role in cultural exchange.
To sum up, although there are argument between developing public amenities and shopping centers, i am convinced that upgrading both would boost local economy and healthier lifestyle.
