The diagram illustrates the structure and the working principle of a Led (light emitting diode) flashlight.
Overall, there are five main parts comprising the flashlight, which is turned on and off using a slide switch.
In term of contruction, the most outward of the flashlight is the plastic core, protecting it from impact as well as acting as a container for other components like batteries, circuits and light bulb. In addition, the slide switch play a vital role in controlling this product.
Regarding the operation, when the slide switch is on, connecting to the broken circuit and enables the flow of current to power the light, which is on at that time. On the other hand, the switch in off position disconnects from the broken circuit, making the whole circuit open and the flow of energy powered by the batteries can not reach the light so it’s off.
