The following bar chart illustrates the donations made to six different categories of charities ranging from social welfare, education, environment, health, wildlife and arts by a single company from 2012 to 2014.
Overall, social welfare consistently received the highest donations across all three years, whereas donations to arts and wildlife were amongst the lowest. Notably, an increasing trend can be observed in the contributions to health while took a dip and the overall donations decreased.
In 2012, around $23,000 was donated to social welfare, dipping slightly in 2013 to $18,000 before rising to nearly $25,000 in 2014. Donations to education in 2012 was around $8,000 but decreased to nearly $5,000 in 2013 and then surged back to approximately $8,000.
While health related donations constantly grew from approximately $6,000 in 2012 to $7,000 to nearly $10,000 in 2014 showcasing growing importance. While wildlife saw a mimor increase from around $3,000 in 2012 to $4,000 in 2013 to $5,000 in 2014. Lastly, arts received the least, rising only modestly from $2,000 in 2012 and 2013 to roughly $3,000 in 2014.
