Overall, the figure of home owners decreased slightly throughout the years. In contrast, the rate of accomodation renters escalated from 2004 to 2014.
In 2004, the rate of house owners was a about 58%, then it declined slightly and saw a minor upward in 2007. In this year, the percentage was still over 55%. However, it kept declining until 2011 and stayed in less than 45% in two years. After 2012, it began to drop again, reaching the exact number of 40% and approximately 35% in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
The rate of renters was far less than the rate of owners in the beginning of the periods. Despite that, the percentage increased gradually. In 2005 and 2006, it reached more than 20% and rose to around 26% in the next two years. Between 2009 and 2011, the percentage escalated steadily, hitting a stable number until 2012. By 2013, it recorded approximately 45%, outnumbering the rate of accomodation owners. Then in 2014, it finally hit its highest point, which was around 48%.
