In 2007, internet access was highest among high-income households , with around 80% of them connected. In contarst only about 30% of low-income households had access while middle income groups stood at roughly 50%.Over the next few years, all three groups saw a gradual increase in internet usage, with the middle-income group reaching approximately 65% by 2013.
By 2019, internet access had significantly improved accross all income groups. High-income households reached nearly 100% access, while middle-income groups rose to around 85% The most notable growth accured among low-income householdsm, whose access increased to approximately 75% reducing the digital gap between the income levels.
