‘ I believe that, to live happily and comfortably in this modern world we all need a lot of money. Therefore I strongly agree with excessive salary is more important than job satisfaction. In this essay I would like to explain how massive earnings important more than job satisfaction today.
In this present situation, we all can see people are pursuing higher earnings rather than past. The main reason being for this situation is people’s needs have increased rapidly in this technological world, therefore people need more money to get more happiness. In the past people believed that, money can not buy happiness, but today that saying has gone wrong. During this time period we can buy happiness if we have more money. If we earn more money we can do whatever we like, whatever we need. Actually I believe big salary opens the door into heaven, which is full of food items, stunning sceneries, and all of other comforts. We can give comfortable lives for our parents, children, partners by making them joyful.
On the other hand, if we only consider our job satisfaction regardless of a big salary, we are unable to fulfill our dreams and desires with a small salary. The best instance that convey, job satisfaction is no more important than a big salary is foreign workers. Also, today most of Sri Lankans have resigned their white colored jobs and they have been to developed countries to pursue their higher education. 99% of them are doing odd jobs with higher salaries, A lot of international students are pursuing labour works and other small odd jobs in developed countries regardless of caring job satisfaction. In contrast, if we only care about our self satisfaction in our employment without considering salary amount, we would struggle with financial problems with todays’ economic crisis.
After exploring present situation in the world, I again say that, I completely agree with above statement, which is ‘big salary is more important than job satisfaction’. If people need a big salary and job satisfaction both, people should fully complete their studies in their most prefer field otherwise they should succeed in a good business. ‘
