Overall, initially TV emerged as dominant recipient of news souse most of given period and was surpassed by the Internet in last few years. Radio and newspapers held significant shares at the beginning of period, then dwindled over time to be the least accesseble new sources.
TV as news source experienced contually decline, ending at 50% in 2025, albeit having the highest demand of just below 70% in 1995. The Internet was at 0% initially, however increased slightly after 2000. Over the next 10 years, the Internet maintained a steady trajectory to 30% and in 2015 briefly surpassed radio and newspapers, which experienced a same gradual decline, ending at below 30% in 2025. Whereas the Internet’s share increased at over 60% slightly surprising TV at 60% in 2025. Although radio and newspapers’ percentage of people were closer at the beginning of given period and having the same number between 2000 and 2010, at the end their differences of proportion became more considerable despite being below 30%.
