Canada also reports the largest industrial consumption at 832 m³, followed closely by Turkey at 731 m³, while the UK stands at 398 m³. For household purposes, Australia ranks first with 341 m³, slightly ahead of Canada at 279 m³.
By contrast, the lowest figures are found in different sectors. China records the smallest domestic usage at just 26 m³, with the UK also low at 38 m³. Industrial water use is minimal in Russia (56 m³) and China (71 m³). In agriculture, the lowest figure belongs to Australia at 741 m³, while the UK and China remain relatively modest at around 800 m³
