Band 4+: The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Write at least 150 words.

The maps elucidate alterations between the current industrial area in Norbiton town and its planned future state.

In general, it can be observed that an urbanization will manifest, as multiple constructions of public facillities,

such as shops, infirmary and school, will take place. In addition, existed factories are repurposed into accommodations.

To begin with, the present industrial part of the town is consisted of natural boundaries, including a river in the north and a long road down south, both running horizontally. Moreover, a roundabout is located in the center, connecting to another road parellel to the mentioned one, which is surrounded by a 7 factories along the road.

However, major changes is expected to happen, starting from north to south.Firstly, a new bridge will be constructed, crossing the river to a lagre housing, where it is previously farmland. Secondly, a diagonal route will branched from the middle, with 3 houses along its side. Finally, shops and medical centre is erected around the middle roundabout, and all former industries will make way for houses, a playground and school.
