Thanks to developing technology, hundreds of thousands of people are owners of cell phones and according to a great many of them, phones play a crucial role in some aspects of their lives recently. I believe there are far more advantages of mobile phone using than its demerits, which will be analyzed in this essay.
On the one hand, cell phones are considered much more advantageous as they undoubtedly offer countless benefits to their users. It is well-known that cell phones can be easily carried everywhere by people since they are small and lightweight. In addition to this, cell phones are not only portable, but also far more cheaper than landlines. Another fancy feature of cell phones is ability of taking high quality photographs by using them. To exemplify, especially people travelling across the world are most likely to desire to create memories of their trips. Unlike camera, which is heavy and expensive, travelers can use their phones in order to capture moments.
On the other hands, it is true fact that mobile phones can be considered negative in some aspect. The most remarkable is that people living in poorer countries find phones highly expensive in terms of their economic status. Another disadvantage of using mobile phone may give rise to serious psychological issues in the long run. For instance, extensive studies which have been carried out recently display that increase of the hours spent on smart phone may lead to screen addiction, which is likely to brings about anti socialism among societies.
To sum it up, I am of the opinion that mobile phones has brought far more merits than disadvantages, it seems that as advances in communication technologies grow, lives of people will become much more easier.
