The pie chart compares the percentage of energy consumption based on fuel over a ten-year period from 2008 to 2018.

Overall, it is clear that the majority of people prefer to use gas, and in 2018 the situation had not changed; gas was still the most popular type of energy consumption based on fuel.

Initially, the most popular type of energy consumption based on fuel was gas with 41.3%, while the second most popular type of energy was oil at approximately 33.0%. However, primary electricity and bioenergy & waste had the lowest percentage among all types of energy with 6.2% and 2.7%, respectively. Additionally, coal with 16.9%.

In 2018, gas experienced a slight decrease to 39.2%, similary the percentage of coal energy experienced a significant decrease to 4.4%. in contrast, primary electricity and bioenergy & waste surged to 11.6% and 9.1%, respectively. Meanwhile, the percentage of oil energy consumption experienced a slight increase to 35.8%.
