Overall, it is evident that the amount of rainfall in Kolkata varies considerably, whereas the temperatures remain constant. Moreover, the highest figure for precipitation is recorded in July, while that of temperature in May.
Regarding the average monthly rainfall, the precipitation rises dramatically from around 25 mm to approximately 100 mm between January and May. Subsequently, that still increases, peaking at nearly 350 mm. At the end of the period, the amount of rainfall plummets to only 1 mm.
Turning to the temperatures, between January and May, the temperatures witness an upward trend from the lowest point at approximately 20 C to a peak of around 30 C.
