The image shows two maps comparing Porth Harbour in 2000 and today. In 2000, there was a fishing port, a café, a shop, an accommodation facility, two parking areas, a hotel, and a littoral area with no ferry terminal. Currently, the harbour includes a ferry terminal, a larger parking area, and new apartments. The fishing port is replaced by a yacht marina and sailing club, and the café and shops are now labeled "Cafés & shops." The accommodation facility has been converted into apartments, while the hotel and littoral area remain unchanged.
Given the complexity of the image, the above description may not be entirely accurate.

The figure illustrates the layout plans of a harbour in 2000 and present day; it is upgraded to fulfill the contemporary requirement.

Overall, the changes in Castle, private yachts, and addition of Cafe and shops have been done to cope up with the modern trend.

The Castle, which was in disused, took place by the hotel thus public beach transformed in to private beach for the hotel. To facilitate the hotel coming people cafe and shops are opened near the road, entrance of hotel, that place were vacant earlier. The other public beach close to the dock remained same as previous while the dock was increased to double to accommodate more ships.

On the other hand, fishing boats and marina , a private yachts, have been rearranged, north to south and vise versa . Showers and toilets have been increased to two, to facilitate over crowed. It seems all this changes are made to make the harbour more vibrant.
