The diagram illustrates the circular way of a honeybee’s life. Overall, it is a natural, continuous progress consisting of 4 stages, beginning with eggs and ending with the development of a mature adult bee.
First of all, a female bee lays one or two eggs, which typically take 10 days to hatch. The silkworm larva emerges and feeds on mulberry leaves (their primary source of consumption). After a feeding period of approximately 4 to 6 weeks, the larva spins a cocoon, that is made of silk thread.
Within the cocoon, the silkworm undergoes a transformation to a moth. This method lasts for 16 days, after as the adult moth emerges. The cycle is then repeated when the moth lays a new batch of eggs.
