The bar chart illustrates how money was invested in four different sectors, namely machinery, building, staff training and research by five companies.
Overall, organization B recorded the highest figures across all given sectors, whereas organization D had the lowest ones.
Regarding the first two categories, while machinery was the sector that organization B invested the least, at approximately €1.3 billion, organization C spent its budget most on machinery (€0.7 billion). Additionally, this figure for organization A was €0.8 billion, twice as high as that of both organization D and E, which allocated only €0.4 billion. While construction was the sector that organization B spent the most of its budget, roughly €1.7 billion, four other companies allocated a moderate amount for this sector, which is around €0.5 billion each.
Turning to the last two categories, staff training was the third largest investment of organization B, at €1.5 billion. Meanwhile, this sector recorded the most proportion that organization A spent on of its budget, at €1 billion. Whereas, organizations C, D and E all invested approximately €0.4 billion. Research was the second largest invesment of organization B, at €1.6 billion, which was doubled that of organization A (€0.8 billion). This figure for organization C recorded at roughly €0.7 billion and it was the smallest investment of both organizations D and E, at approximately €0.3 billion each.
