In this day and age ,one thought holds that authorities should allocate more resources for preventive healthcare ,such as boosting a healthy lifestyle or preventing a disease ,instead of dealting with illnesses .Meanwhile, others assert that developing new treatments or cures should be greater given priority. From my perspective , both views hold merits ,but creating new medical treatments should pay more attention to.
On the one hand, investing in new treatments is crucial because numerous perilous illnesses gradually turned up ,which caused many troubles amd challenges for citizens .For example, serious diseases like cancer or genetic disorders still require advanced medical technology. If governments spend more money on research, doctors can find better cures and help patients live longer. New treatments also improve the quality of life for people who already suffer from health problems. Therefore, treatment plays an essential role in any healthcare system.
On the other hand, prevention can reduce the immense number of people who become ill in the first place.Simple actions such as incentivising exercise, offering vaccinations, and teaching people about healthy diets can stop several common diseases. When fewer people get sick, hospitals will be less crowded, and governments will save a lot of money that would have been used for expensive treatments. Prevention also helps people stay strong and productive, which benefits society as a whole.
