Color has always held sentimental value for us, as it can be seen in every corner of life. However, in this essay, I will examine why I do not agree with the assertion that color schemes are pivotal in decorating workplaces or hospitals.
First, colors do not have a significant impact in offices, as people are primarily there to earn a living, not to stare at the walls. Moreover, if employees are already dissatisfied with their careers, no color can change their feelings. Even if a particular color initially stimulates people, they will soon become accustomed to it, much like a fleeting burst of dopamine.
Second, colors do not create major changes in hospitals, where people are often unwell. Even if a hospital is decorated with bright and cheerful colors, it does not alter the reality that many patients face serious health issues. Furthermore, individuals do not have the luxury of time to admire wall colors, especially when they are dealing with the profound loss of a loved one or suffering from a severe illness themselves.
In conclusion, the impact of colors in certain situations cannot be denied. However, their significance in specific environments is not as intrinsic as some may believe.
