The diagram illustrates the different components of a solar panel and its function.
Overall, a solar panel consists of a square size container with two openings (inlet and outlet) and a transparent glass that is located on top of the container.
First of all, a solar panel works in daytime in a condition of sufficient sun rays. Secondly, room temperature air enter through the first opening, inlet. Furthermore, the function of a transparent glass is to absorb sufficient sun ray and turn it into heat. As a result, it heats up the air. Lastly, warm air is generated and released through outlet.
Similarly, when room temperature water flows through a solar panel in daytime, it turns to warm water over time after absorbing enough heat. Consequently, warm water is made and flow through the outlet to supply different households.
To sum up, a solar panel is a simple structure that consists of a square size box with two valves and transparent glass. In addition, it utilises sun rays to produce warm water for household use.
