It is often argued that only the most marvelous students should be rewarded. However, others believe that it is crucial to reward learners who show great improvements. In this essay I will discuss both views and give my own opinion.
On the one hand, some group of people believe that schools, colleges and universities should reward the students who are amazing in their field of study and because they think when those students get rewarded, they keep working hard on themselves and show keep showing their skills. That is why, in many schools and universities reward the most outstanding students of their schools. For example, in many countries the learners who has the outstanding grades and skills are awarded. Sometimes with small sum of money or sometimes with some sort of prizes.
On the other hand, other groups of people think school and college principals and teachers to consider awarding the students who started to improve in the classes and on their field of studies. The reason behind why some people think like this is because they assume when the improved students get awarded, they tend to improve more and more because they know if they keep improving, they will get more rewards. For instance, in many colleges when a failure students get better at their studies, they will get prizes for their hard work and keep getting better.
In conclusion, as far as I am concerned, both groups of people have a solid point where both types of students should be rewarded by school because if the college principals award outstanding students and do not pay attention to a student who improved, their motivation will go down and stop studying. That is why I believe that both marvelous and getting better students should be rewarded at the same time with the same prize to keep their motivation and encourage them to get better.
