To be more specific, when people become more ambition, they set extremely high goals and put too much pressure on themselves to succeed. For example, many young professionals in competitive industries experience anxiety and burnout due to their excessive ambition to achieve rapid career growth. Furthermore, another one of the demerits is loss of ethics and relationships. To be more precise, when ambition becomes an obsession, some people may start ignoring moral values or personal relationships.
