This line graph displays the production levels of three different fuels in UK from 1981 to 2000.
Overall it is clear that petroleum production level significantly highter than coan and natural gas for all nigthteen years. Additionaly, while petroleum and natural gas production levels increased during the period, coal production level decreased during the period.
In 1981 UK has producted approximately 90 million tonnes of petroleum, then moved up singificantly to 140 tonnes in 1984 before four year of decreasing. By 1987 to 1991 this figure dropped to the lowest point, reaching only 100 tonnes before experiencing a strong recovery at the end of the period. Meanwhile natural gas steadily inreased year by year. Natural gas superpassed coal with 40 production level in 1984 and approximately 50 production level in 1992, and ended period with 100 tonnes.
Starting at 80 tonnes, coal production dropped to under 40 unit in 1984 before returing to 60 tonnes in 1986. Coal production has decreased year by year and finied period with appoximately 37 tonnes.
