Nowadays number of people who write by hand using a pen, pencil, or brush has been steadily diminishing. This trend can be explained by developments in technology. In my view, the shift towards writing is more positive upgrade.
There are several reasons why writing by hand utilizing the different kinds of pens and brushes has become less preferred option. Chief among them is typing. As technology has advanced, writing with phones and keyboards significantly gone viral in recent years. For example, many companies and educational places encourage people to rely on typing and writing online. Furthermore, in some societies writing by hand are viewed old and time-consuming. The combination of speed, clarity and comfort in writing explains why typing dominate in these contexts.
In my opinion, the shift to typing using keyboards and smartphones is far more advantageous than writing by hand with pens and pencils. While penning may offer simplicity, they are getting useless and challenging. Typing on computers and phones not only addresses these issues but also promote sustainability and convenience. Additionally, writing on phones and keyboards have auto-correction systems which allow people to make less mistakes while writing and having time saved contributed on checking and correcting some words. As many offices requiring writing on PC, the long-term benefits of this change for both workers and society will be substantial.
In conclusion, penning by pens is favored where casualness and banality are priorities, whereas typing on modern gadgets are chosen worldwide. I think positives of this trend carry more weight.
