Some argue that entertainments have to be added to school curriculum, while others say that the main role of schools is educating. In my view, leisure activities could have positive impact on students by enhancing their interests to study.
The reason why some people believe that schools need to be more amusing is that students should refresh their minds during studies in order to prevent problems with health. Studying too much can have negative impact by harming humans’ health since their organism needs rest and with funny activiets students can easily remember the topic and just enjoy it. For example, it is widely accepted that lessons with some funny games related to the topics are more interesting and enjoyable for students comparing to the ordinary lessons. After such lessons, students will remember the topic and they can use it in their lifes. Therefore, adding some funny activities can only enhance the productivity of students.
However, there are some who feel that schools have to be stricter and their main role is educating because they think that without strict curriculum students will neglect their studies. Giving too much freedom for students can make them lazy and relaxed. After that they can ignore their teachers and lessons so the curriculum have to be more precisely. For example, in China, schools are really rigid and they do not let students relax or have fun; on the countrary, they punish them for the slightest mistakes. Surprisingly, after these methods, people in China are really clever and they won almost all competitions.
Having discussed both sides, I believe that schools need to have amusements because they can only positively affect students studies by increasing their interests on them.
To conclude, even though some individuals think that students benefit greatly with only educating study plan, I take the view of others who believe that schools need to be more entartaining.
