There is debate over whether children should learn recycling and reducing waste with some saying that schools are the best place to teach these habits and others arguing that parents should teach them at home.
Some people believe children should learn recycling at home, due to children see what their parents do every day. If parents separate plastic, paper and food waste, children can copy them. Also, home is a simple place to learn and parents can explain things in an easy way.
On the othwr hand, some people think schools should teach recycling. Schools have teachers who know more about the environment and they can give the same information to every student. Schools also have special bins and projects that help children practise recycling during the day.
In my view schools are better because they are more organised. Children spend many hours at school, so they can learn recycling regularly. At home, not all parents know how to teach this and some do not have time.
In conclusion, both home and school can teach children to recycle. However I believe school is better for that reason it is more structured and children can learn the same things together. Check it and grade it like ielts
