In the past few years, people have been debating whether taking risks worth putting in effort or not. One group say that stepping out of comfort zone help you grow in all aspects of life. While the other group believe that the goal of life is to enjoy it. In my opinion, I see that we could gain uncountable benefits from taking risks.
Taking risks put you face to face with opportunities and open doors to new life experience. It pretty much similar to building a muscle, it gets easier every time we make a hard decision or face unexpected situations. Living with the willing to take risks will build our characters as we are exposed to life. It must be taught in schools as a skill so later in life kids can seize all its benefits. For instance, they could get new work opportunities, build resilience, and expand their life vision.
On the contrary, it is understandable to value our comfort zone. Taking risks is not always right thing to do. In many cases, miscalculating the cons of a decision could make things go extremely wrong and disturb our peace. For example, a risky move in trading could cause losing all money invested, or taking charge of a new responsibility could end up of firing!
In conclusion, both views have understandable reasoning. Even though risk-taking has numerous advantages, the calm state of mind and a healthy nerve system are only found in comfort zone.
