Generally, library was used for research and borrowing books, mostly by people who are 16-17 years old.
According to the bar chart above, people between 16-17 years used the library more than others, mostly for research and borrowing books, 55% and 51% respectively. However, they ranked the last in the trend of borrowing newspapers with only 20% of them using that facility. People from age group 25 to 29 got accounted for least use of library for research and books it provided, 41% and 33%, the ranks changed again when it was about newspaper libraries lent them, with the group members scoring 25%, more than that of their counterparts.
Regarding to the table, it is noticeable that 16-17 years old users utilized library and got help from the librarian, 72% and 43% respectively, yet nearly half of them commented libraries to be unimportant, unlike the remaining 54% who thought them to be essential. On the contrary, group of people who are between 25 and 29 used the library the least (54%), but most of them considered library to be important (74%). People who were part of age group 18-24 rated in the middle for all of the criteria mentioned above, with slightly being greater or less than percentages of 25-29 age group.
