Upon further viewing, warehouses and cranes from both sides of the river have been entirely demolished to favor housings, recreational areas, and a campus. The south side was designated for accommodations: an apartment complex for residents and a hotel for tourists. Accompanying those is a parking space to shelter private vehicles and a path that offers views to the water. The opposing side now features an educational center to aid learning opportunities, along the children’s playground that fosters social interaction among youngsters. Located in between, a sailing club was established to entertain those interested. Two striking improvements are the connecting bridge and flood barrier built across the river; the former has created a communal route between two sides and the latter aims to prevent infrastructure damages. The river is now home to a ship museum in regards to Liverton’s history. The only thing that remained unaltered is the way to the coast.
