Considering from an overall perspective, highest rice production and consumption observed in Hungary whereas South Korea contributed the least output.
To begin with, Hungary produced 540 tonnes and consumed 532 tonnes of rice. Moreover, Philippines produced and consumed 410 and 387 tonnes of rice, respectively. In addition, in India and Qatar, the rice farming were around 106 and 104 tonnes, respectively, with the former being higher than the latter one. Apart from that, rice consumption recorded around 104 and 86 tonnes correspondingly. In Tunisia, 87 tonnes rice were produced and 70 tonnes rice were consumed.
Furthermore, in Pakistan, 62 tonnes of rice production were recorded, while 50 tonnes of intake were noticed. Also, the rice production and consumption of Vietnam and Zambia was almost same around 56 tonnes and 46 tonnes, in respective order. Bangladesh and South Korea produced 53 and 49 tonnes of rice, respectively, whilst consumed 49 and 45 tonnes of rice, respectively.
