The graph illustrates the contribution of tourism construction and agriculture such as Income from tourism sector, Income from construction sector,and Income from agriculture sector to the Egyptian economy in the period from 1982 to 2003.
In general, it is clear from the graph that while, Income from tourism sector grow before experienced a signifficant fall, the proportion of Income from agriculture sector remained unchanged. Additionally, the line of Income from construction sector increased troughout the period.
In 1982 the graph of Income from tourism sector begin with approximatelly 0.3 billions. From 1982 to 1997 the proportion incresed to around 2.9 US dollars. In the next 3, it jumped to approximatelly 4.3 billions. From 2000 to 2002 numbers remained stability, however in the next year was a signifficant fall to around 1.6 dollars. In contrast, Income from agriculture sector started with 1.5 billions. From 1982 to 2003 the numbers remained consistent by1.5 billions.
Conversely, the proportion of Income from construction sector begin with approximatelly 1.1 US dollars. From 1982 to 2000 the line grew up to around 3.4 billions. From 2000 to 2003 income declined to 2.5 billions, however that income stayed the highest point at the end from the graph.
