The given bar chart provides intormation about the changes in the production of meat all over the world over a 10-year period from 2010 to 2020.
As we can see in the graph, the most produced type of the meat in the world is beef and pork.The production of beef showed a gradual growth from 25 million tones in 2010 to nearly 45 in 2020,increasing by 50 million tones in one decade. Similarly,there was a slight rise in the pork production by about 15 million tones until 2016,but in the last 4 years it went up significantly,accounting for 80 million tones in 2020.
When it comes to other two categories of meat production,in the first year both of them stood at 5 million tones, holding the same position.The poultry production showed a steady increase by approximately 20 million tones for the next eight years, but in 2020 there was a sharp growth to 50 million tones, showing a twofold increase. In contrast , the production of sheep remained at the same level at 5 million tones throughout the period. Moreover, the difference between two groups made up 45 million tones in the last year.
Overall,all categories of the meat production except sheep had an upward trend over the whole period. In addition, the production of pork was the second highest at the beginning of the period, but in the last year it took the leading position.
