One of the difficult decisions I have ever made was choosing Diploma in Civil Engineering after completing my secondary level education from the Ghanom Model Secondary School. I also achieved a plus in my ISE examination. I made this decision 3 years ago when I had to choose my study field after completing ASEE examination. Many of my friends were choosing Science and Management faculty because they believed that those students provide them better opportunities in later life. However, I was interested in building infrastructure development and construction management at related oak since my childhood and I had always been curious on how the buildings wrote and bridges are constructed. This decision was so hard for me for several reasons. some of my relatives suggested me to choose more traditional path like science or management because they believe that diploma is not as prestigious like bachelor degree and secondly it was also difficult decision for me because I was unsure whether I would able to handle the technical subject like engineering, drawing and mathematics. I was afraid of making wrong decision and regretting later. After discussion with my parents and researching about the diploma with my teachers and researcher, I finally decided to pursue my diploma in civil engineering degree. Being diploma in civil engineering was a really great experience. It helped me to learn more about theoretical lessons as well as practical lessons which helped me to apply the engineering principle in real life. And the teachers and the staffs and the, were really educated and well experienced. We had a great experience there and I had also great memories about that study.
