Overall, the total number of tourists to Orange City increased significantly, while the annual events were replaced with restaurants over the period.
According to the first chart, in 2006, annual events experienced the highest percentage showing 45%, followed by museums, which made up noticeable figure with 27%. In addition, turning to other reasons, theater and restaurants accounted for similar percentages, recording 13% and 10%, respectively. Other reasons was the smallest share at 5% in 2006.
When it comes to the 2016, the proportion of visitors choosing restaurants rose sharply, from 10% to 41%, whereas annual events showed a decrease at 32% throughout the given second year. Similarly, museums and theater demonstrated a dramatic decline falling to 11% and 8%, respectively, in 2016. Regarding the tourists visiting for other reasons, this category saw a slight growth, rising from 5% to 8%.
