The two maps show the modifications that have taken place on Felix Stone from 1967 to 2001. Both maps present various features of the area. Overall, the area has been developed over a thirteen-four-year period. Felix Stone has been transformed from a simple area into a well-equipped location. The zone has become more vacationer-oriented and accessible, with numerous amenities such as water features and recreational facilities.
In 1967, the area was relatively underdeveloped, with only a few key features present. The main road ran from east to west, dividing the zone into two sections. The golf course, which was located at the top of the map, was adjacent to several shops. There were also other shops beyond the High Street, while a large farmland was situated near them. At that time, at the bottom of the zone sea was present, while the dunes were directly above it. Additionally, the hotel was situated immediately to the left of the café, adjacent to it. A marina, which was located in the middle of the café and fish market, was connected to the pier.
Since then, the new town has undergone a considerable makeover in 2001. The most notable change was the introduction of a swimming pool, tennis court, and hotel, which came at the expense of the farmland. Although the golf course and shops aligned with the café preserved their original positions, the previous fish market could be replaced by a private beach. Similarly, where the hotel stood, there is now a car park. The dunes were reduced in size; instead, wind turbines were erected. Another notable change was the replacement of the marina and the pier, in which a public beach was added.
