The given maps depict the development of a community centre in 10 years’ time.
Overall, the community centre has undergone significant reorganisation, with recreational and commercial areas replacing much of the original garden and offices, while the hall has remained unchanged.
In terms of the left half of the map, the new indoor sports facility, located in the northwest area of the map, is constructed on where the garden used to be, providing clients with more excercise activities. Behind that, the car park remains unaltered in the lower-left corner, between the indoor sports and the entrance. In the same way, the reception and the cloak room are left as they were in 10 years
Moving to the other side of the centre, the storage in the north has been cleared by a half to make way for the toilet which used to be located in the southest area. The coffee bar has expanded into a cafe area in the upper-right corner of the centre. Moreover, this new cafe area is built at the expense of four offices and the other storage, making this area become the largest section in the centre now. Four offices have been converted into one office that replaces the coffee bar and toilets at the bottom of the map. There is an unchanged kitchen, adjacent to the cafe area, over the ten year change period.
