I used to work as an English teacher. I was helped a student gain admission to the university faculty that he wanted. Before studying with me, he was actually failing his English class. However, after studying with me for about a year, he managed to achieve an A in English And after two years of studying together, he successfully passed the university entrance exam and got into the faculty that he aimed for. The main problem that he had at that time was that he did not comprehend English grammar very well. Therefore, I started teaching him the grammar from the beginning. My teaching method was first to explain the grammar clearly and then give him exercises to practice. I urged him to practice until he successfully got the exercises correctly and I provided feedback on what he needed to improve. I believe that giving clear and constructive feedback is one of the most efficient teaching methods.
