The graph given in the chart illustrates the frequency of happiness among different age groups in Europe in last four weeks while the accompanying pie charts show the frequency of happiness among full-time and part-time workers during the same time period.
According to the graph, the frequency of happiness decreases as the age group increases while the pie charts depicts a high level of happiness among part-time employees.
The age group 16-24 showed the highest level of happiness with about 71.5% of them feeling happy almost all the time while only 6.9% of them felt no happiness in the last four weeks. In contrast, individuals of the age group 35-49 were the most unhappy individuals with only 58.9% of them feeling happy all the time and 12.2% feeling no happiness at all.
Similarly, part-time workers showed the highest frequency of happiness with 66.5% of the individuals feeling happy all the time, meanwhile 64.4% of the full-time workers felt happy all the time in last four weeks, a ratio slightly lower than the part-time workers. Though the proportion of people that felt no happiness at all is same among both groups, that is 9.2%.
