In 1970, the marriage rate is comperatively higher which is 2.5% and divorce rate is only 1%.Although, in 1980 the marriage rate remains same but the divorce ratio have been increased by .5% from previous data.In 1990,the marriage rate has reduced a bit but the divorce ratio has increased. However, in 2000 the ratio of marriage has droped by .5% and came to 2% and divorced rate remains same by 1%.
In 1990, the marital status of adult americans have a drastic ups and downs like , the never married is 12%,then married ratio is 70%, widowed are 8% and divorced are 3%.But in 2000, ratios have changed , never married 20%, married ratios decreased by 10%,widowed 6% and divorced became 9%.
Overall, the marriage and divorced ratio don’t have drastic change but the marital ratio od americans have change little.
