The given table illustrates the number of people using three different public transport( bus, train, and metro) in a particular city over a 15-year period.
Overall, the number of people who take the metro rose significantly among the given years. Similarly, trains showed a noticeable increase. However, the number of bus users recorded a gradual decline. At the beginning, buses were the most preferred type of transportation, while metros were the least popular. Even though, trains recorded the highest number by the end of the period.
In 2010, most people preferred using the bus, while 40 people used the train ,and only small proportion used the metro. After five years, the number of the bus users decreased from 80 to 70. Meanwhile, trains and metro users rose equally by 15 users to reach 55 and 35 respectively.
In contrast, by 2020, trains became more popular and reached 75 people. In that time both metros and buses recorded the exact number of users. Nevertheless, buses were the least useed by 2025, while metros present another significant upward trend. On the other hand, train usage increased to 90 people, which had become the most common public transport type.
