Overall, the average consumption of vegetables, wheat, bean and cheese had witnessed an upward trend, over the period in question, albeit in varying degrees. Meanwhile, the amount of meat consumed by a person weekly in a European country negligibly decreased.
To begin with, in 1992, the figure of vegetables was close to 2150. By 2012, its amount reached more than 2200. Similarly, the average quantity of wheat, bean and cheese a gradual increase, starting at about 840, 530 and 110 grams and ending at approximately 980 and exactly 590 and 125 grams, respectively.
However, the consumption of meat bucked this trend. Its fugure began at almost 1150 grams. And, after having reached its peak of a little bit more than 1210, it went down, ending at the figure of above 1130.
