The charts illustrate the results of a survey on adult education, along with the reasons adults choose to study and opinions on how the costs should be shared.
Overall, the main reason for adults to continue education was interest in the subject, while meeting people was the least common reason. In addition, most people believed that individuals should pay the largest proportion of course costs.
When it comes to bar chart, 40% of people studied because they interested in the subject, followed closely by to gain qualification at 38%. At the same time, helpful for current job (22%), enjoy learning (20%), and to improve prospects of promotion (20%) are very similar. By contrast, only 12% chose education to change jobs, with people studied in order to meet people trail behind at 9%.
As far as pie chart is concerned, 40% of respondents thought that the individual should cover the costs of education. Employers were believed to be responsible for 35% of the expenses, whereas taxpayers should pay the remaining 25%.
