The line graph compares the number of visits to two new music websites, namely Music Choice and Pop Parade, over a fifteen-day period.
Overall, Pop Parade attracted more visitors for most of the time period, although Music Choice briefly became more popular near the end of the period. In addition, both websites experienced considerable fluctuations in traffic.
At the beginning of the period, Pop Parade recorded approximately 120 thousand visits per day, which was three times higher than the figure for Music Choice. After remaining relatively stable during the first three days, the number of visits declined steadily and reached a low of around 30 thousand on day 7. However, the website recovered rapidly from day 10 onward, climbing to 150 thousand visits on day 11. Despite a temporary fall to roughly 80 thousand visits on days 12 and 13, Pop Parade finished the period at its highest point of about 170 thousand visits.
By contrast, Music Choice started with 40 thousand visits and fluctuated mainly between 20 and 40 thousand during the first eleven days, apart from a brief increase to 60 thousand on day 3. On day 12, traffic rose dramatically to 120 thousand visits, allowing the site to overtake Pop Parade temporarily. Although the number of visits peaked at approximately 125 thousand on day 14, it then fell sharply to around 70 thousand on the final day.
