The provided line graph shows the amount of different fast food ingested weekly in the UK over a period of 20 years from 1970 to 1990. It is clear that while the consumption of hamburger and fish & chips were on the upward trend, the opposite was true for that of pizza.
In 1970, there was an average of over 300g pizza eaten by UK resident, in comparison with only around 100g for fish and chips and even lower, only about 50g for hamburger.
Over the next ten years, there was a slight rise of 50g in the hamburger consumption. Fish and chips consumption also rose marginally to 150g in that time. By contrast, the amount of pizza being consumed was seen a significantly fall to 200g. This figure surprisingly fluctuated slightly between 300g until 1990.
On the other hand, the consumption of hamburger surged to nearly 300g, while the fish and chips ingestion rose dramatically then peaked at 500g, stayed the most consumable product by the end of the period.
