Overall, the village has been masively massively transformed from a food-producing area to a tourist destination.
In 1974, the population of the village are 12.000. Firstly, all areas were used as a recidential areas and a food production areas. In highland areas, around the hill was used by farmers to raising livestocks such as sheeps and goats. In addition, the farmers were built a villages in the hills. Next, There was an olive grove in the hill beside a woodland. In the beach, as we can see, there was a fishing village with a harbour.
Recently, the village has been developed to a tourist destination and the population has increased to 80.000 and 50.000 for tourist beds. Next, all areas have beed repurposed to adapt tourism needs. In highland areas, the livestock has been demolished and a road has been built. The olive grove has been replaced to farmland and this has been provide fruit and vegetable for hotels. The woodland has been cleared to built a golf course. Lastly, the fishing village has been maintened, but the harbour has been demolished.
