Education is the primary element for both genders. Educational institutes have to select member from male and female in each subject. While some are in favour of biasied practice, I believe that universities should focus on holistic educational concept rather than preferring one.
People who are in favour of selecting one gender in appropriate subject have their own justification. One major reason is suitability of male and female. For instance, male students might be interested in physical activity and financial education. if colleges connect the activity or subject to relevant pupils, it overall boost their productivity and their confidence over subject. Another concern is to maintain the admission criteria. For example, number should be maintained by merit or grades rather than emphasizing on gender.
Despite the argument mentioned above, i am in favour of equal education concept because of some potential reasons. Firstly, it maintains the transparency in education. To exemplify, adapting boys and girls in same number tends to produce equality between both genders; hence, it delivers a positive message to the community. Secondly, the literacy ratio can be maintained by this approach. To substantiate it, children are encouraged by the society to acquire education due to weightage of both genders. In addition, learning is the right for each pupils, which should be fulfilled by selecting equal member of both genders. Therefore, advantageous impact might be created though applying this practice.
In conclusion, although biased education has few positive effects, it seems to that balanced approach should be followed by universities to maintain the transparency in education.
