The maps illustrate the changes that occurred in a coastal village betewwn 1995 and 2025.
Overall, the village underwent a dramatic transformation over the 30-year period. What was once a small rural village, consisting of a forest, a farm, a few houses and a fishing port developed into a large residential and tourist area. The fishing port was expanded significantly, while several new facilities, including a hotel, a restaurant and a car park, were added.
In 1995, the village was relatively undeveloped. A large forest occupied the north-western area, while a farm was located in the south-west. There was a small cluster of houses in the central area, connected to the fishing port in the north-east by a single winding road. The estern side of the villaage was bordered by a long beach stretching along the coast.
By 2025, considerable urban development had benn taken place. The fishing port had been enlarged and additional buildings were constructed around it, suggesting increased commercial activity. The number of houses rose dramaticaly, with a large residentional neighborhood covering most of the central part of the village. The original road network was replaced by a system of interconnected streets.
Several new amenities were also introduced. The farm in the south-west was removet to make way for a large hotel and a car park. Furthermore, a restaurant was built close to the beach on the estern side. Although the forest remained largely intact, the village became far more densely populated and developed than it had been in 1995.
