It is often argued that in the digital age public places such as theatres, museums, and cinemas are not essential as people can watch them online at home, while other believe that they are still vital both economically and culturally. This essay I will discuss both sides and give my opinion.
On the one hand, at present, people are really can watch everything from home without going somewhere as people have access to watch them. It is absolutely convenience because going to public places takes a lot of time, particularly if the city is large and has traffic. For instance, older people prefer to stay at home to some health reasons and they do not visit somewhere since it borrows their energy, instead of, watch movies or shows without going out the best way as in netflix are always available and have wide range of serials.
On the other hand, going to the cinema and theatres are really important due to the fact that it enhance economic growth and tourism. For example, visiting diverse entertainment generate employment and give opportunities for many people who unemployed. Additionally it attracts tourists and encourage them to visit our entertainment. Therefore it give perspective to us to develop our tourism by local people’s feedback and experience.
Taking everything into account, although there are numerous benefits of watching movies online such as availability of films and shows in apps. In my opinion, visiting cinemas and theatres are much more essential to our economic and tourism development.
