The first chart illustrates how energy is used in an average british household while the second chart illustrates the greenhouse gas emissions which result from this energy use. Overall, in first chart recorded heating used the highest energy whereas in second chart water heating accounted the highest proportion.
In the first chart, heating stood at 42% while it was at 15% in the second chart . On the other hand,water heating was at 30% wheras in the other one, it stood at 32%.In contrast, cooling required 2% from the data of british household energy and 3% in greenhouse gas emissions.
Lighting was at 4% whereas it doubled to 8% in the second chart. In contrast we observe refrigeration stood at 7% in the first chart whereas in the second chart it gets doubled to 14%. we observe double growth in both lighting and refrigeration and 1% increase in cooling data.
