The diagram illustrate how greenhouse effect on earth works.
Overall, the process involves multiple processes with the sun as the main source of heat and light with infrared radiation as a result.
Greenhoouse effect happens when there is too much heat absorbed by the earth. Sun is the main source of light and heat in our planet and plays a major part with this phenomena. To describe the process, the visible light from the sun is radiated to earth wherein some of it is absorbed by the surface and some bounces back to space as a reflected light. The light absorbed in the planet will be used for its purpose and in return it will be deduced as an infrared light. The infrared light will then decipitate away from the earth but some are re-radiated to the land. The re-radiated light combined with the visible light coming from the sun will result to a hotter weather which will then fall as a greenhouse effect.
